These terms apply when you use ChineseNameGuide public content, naming tools, accounts, and workspace features.
Use of the service
You may use the service for lawful personal or professional naming research. You are responsible for the content you enter, the decisions you make from generated suggestions, and keeping account credentials secure.
Cultural and informational guidance
Name meanings, pronunciation, cultural notes, popularity, and traditional analyses are informational suggestions, not guarantees. Language and cultural interpretation vary by region, context, and individual preference. Traditional fortune or element content is cultural entertainment and is not scientific, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Accounts and saved work
Some features require an account. Local-only projects depend on browser storage and may be lost when that storage is cleared. Synced features are identified in the interface. You may not attempt to access another user's projects, disrupt the service, or automate abusive request volumes.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, accuracy, and reliability. We aim to preserve saved work when practical, but free services are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Content and intellectual property
ChineseNameGuide site design, original writing, and software remain protected by applicable law. You may use exported name suggestions for your own lawful purposes. Third-party sources, names, and cultural references remain subject to their respective rights.
