Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use ChineseNameGuide public content, naming tools, accounts, paid features, saved results, and optional AI enhancements.
Use of the service
You may use the service for lawful personal or professional naming research. You are responsible for the content you enter, the decisions you make from generated suggestions, and keeping account credentials secure.
AI-assisted content
AI enhancements are optional creative or explanatory layers built from available tool facts. Their text may be incomplete or unsuitable for a particular context and must not be treated as a verified historical source, personality assessment, prediction, or professional advice. Review AI-assisted text before relying on or publishing it.
Cultural and informational guidance
Name meanings, pronunciation, cultural notes, and traditional analyses are informational suggestions, not guarantees. Language and cultural interpretation vary by region, context, and individual preference. Traditional fortune or element content is cultural entertainment and is not scientific, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Paid plans
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe and unlock the capabilities shown for the active billing period. You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the Billing Portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period; returning to Free limits new saves and advanced use but does not automatically delete existing account data.
Accounts and saved work
Some features require an account. Local-only saved names depend on browser storage and may be lost when that storage is cleared. Synced features are identified in the interface. You may not attempt to access another user's saved names, disrupt the service, or automate abusive request volumes.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, accuracy, and reliability. We aim to preserve saved names when practical, but free services are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Content and intellectual property
ChineseNameGuide site design, original writing, and software remain protected by applicable law. You may use saved name suggestions for your own lawful purposes. Third-party sources, names, and cultural references remain subject to their respective rights.
